No — a chemical overhaul is more thorough. In a wash, we clean the coil in-place. In an overhaul, we completely dismantle the unit, remove the blower wheel, and clean every internal component separately.
About 90 minutes to 2 hours per unit. We recommend scheduling a morning slot so the unit can be tested and cooled down before the evening.
For most units under 8–10 years old that are structurally sound, a chemical overhaul can restore performance significantly at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Our tech will advise honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Labour, chemical solution, and all standard cleaning work. Gas top-up (if needed) and part replacements are quoted separately and only done with your approval.
