HDB vs Condo — What You Need to Know
For HDB flats, all installations must comply with HDB guidelines — compressor units must be placed on the approved external ledge and cannot block common corridors. For condos, check your building management's guidelines before booking as some restrict outdoor compressor placement or require a permit. We're familiar with both and will advise on-site if there are any restrictions.

How much does aircon installation cost in Singapore?+
A System 1 (single unit) supply and install starts from $400. System 2 starts from $700, System 3 from $900, System 4 from $1,100. Prices include the unit, piping up to 5m, gas charging, and test run. Longer pipe runs, additional trunking, or difficult access may carry a surcharge which we quote upfront before starting.
How long does installation take?+
A System 2 installation in a standard HDB flat typically takes 3-4 hours. System 3 takes 4-6 hours. Larger systems or condos with difficult access may take a full day. We'll give you a time estimate when you book.
Which aircon brand should I choose?+
Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric are the most reliable long-term with the best after-sales service networks in Singapore. Panasonic and LG are good mid-range options. Samsung and Midea are budget-friendly with decent reliability. For most Singapore HDB households, a Daikin or Mitsubishi System 3 is the most common choice.
Do I need to buy the unit myself or do you supply it?+
We supply the unit as part of the package — you don't need to buy separately. If you've already purchased a unit from a retailer like Harvey Norman or Courts, we can install-only for a lower price. Just let us know when you enquire.
Are there any HDB restrictions I need to know about?+
HDB requires that compressor units be installed on the designated external ledge and must not protrude beyond the ledge or obstruct common areas. The number of systems allowed depends on your flat type. We handle all of this and will advise if there are any issues during the site visit.
How soon can you install?+
